The Angler 36-inch BoomBox is an octagonal softbox that’s designed for monolights and flash heads with Bowens mounts. The lightweight and portable BoomBox is an indispensable accessory when you need to quickly set up a light in the field or in the studio. It opens up just like an umbrella and eliminates time-consuming softbox setup with an integrated speed ring and flex rods, so you can spend more time shooting. And its rigid aluminum construction keeps its shape, even in demanding outdoor conditions.
The BoomBox features a reflective silver interior that amplifies the light and throws a punchy, specular beam that’s ideal when your image needs contrast and sharp detail. Its two diffusers broaden the beam and cast a soft wraparound light that’s great for portraits and fashion. In addition, the included removeable reflector plate transforms the box in a beauty dish-style light that casts a uniform beam wile it eliminates hot spots.
