Tape player # 1 operates and can fast forward and reverse. Dubbing capabilities have not been tested. Tape player #1 play button must be pressed way down to play tapes. Tape # 2 operates and can play, fast forward and reverse.
Tape heads most likely need to be demagnetized and or cleaned. The sound quality is still crisp.
