The recording function does not work. The slot for the recording tape only spins in reverse and fast forward when there is no tape inserted. When the tape is inserted, it does not spin, probably a simple belt issue. The only other flaws worth noting are the scratches on the top, a deep one on the back, and the right speaker gets staticky sometimes when adjusting the volume but it quickly recovers. Simply listening to a tape, fast forward, rewind, and the radio all work perfectly and both speakers sound AMAZING. The lights work. Overall this unit is extremely clean. If you are not looking to record tapes, it is perfect for you. Or you can get the recording functions repair. Besides the recording function, everything works.
