We want to thank everybody for your reviews, comments, and feedback. We’ve taken some time to investigate a few reoccurring concerns and want to share what we’ve learned and what we’re doing to address those concerns. Sticky fluid on M90 MINI handle
We’ve had reports of a sticky fluid leaking from the handle area on some units. This is non-hazardous silicone damping fluid used to help create the slow-resistance movement of the handle. An excessive amount of this fluid was applied during mass production. Unfortunately, this issue went undetected during inspection and only became apparent after transit. Follow these instructions to safely clean the excess silicone off your M90 Mini:
Wet the tip of a cotton swab with alcohol, then dab or wipe off the excess silicone fluid until it is all gone. It may take several swabs to complete the job. Take care not to drip excess alcohol on your M90. Once the job is completed, you may notice that the handle moves more easily. Once the excess alcohol evaporates, the handle should once again move in a slow, steady rate.
