Sony CFS-99 Boombox Vintage 80s, For Parts. This vintage Sony Boombox was released in 1981. I have not tested the unit but am assuming it does not work. It does not have the original power cord. It can also run off of 10, D batteries. Cosmetically it is in fairly good condition. Noted damage is: rabbit ears antenna broken and missing the end tips, the eject button for the cassette is gone (although you can still press there to eject the tape), some of the plastic clips on the back to hold the rabbit ears down and secure are broken off, and the plastic tab that has the tape functions on it are bending back a little. No visible corrosion in the battery compartment. Some cosmetic wear like some scratches on the plastic. Please look at all pictures for condition before purchase. With a little work, this would be a very expensive boombox. Fast shipping. The boombox weighs over 21 lbs with no batteries.
Measurements of boombox are 23” wide, 16” tall (with handle up), and 7” deep. It will ship UPS Ground due to its weight and size. No returns accepted on this item since it is being sold "As Is" for Parts.
