Vintage 1980s Soundesign Boombox Model Number 4656 TWIN Rare! SEE DEMO VIDEO!
Unit is in nice condition and CLEAN. Battery compartment is clean, there's slight corrosion on the tip of one spring terminal.
Everything works except the left side tape deck, the tape spins and fast forwards, rewinds ect but no sound comes
out of the speakers. The right side tape deck works fine. When listening to the radio or a tape the speakers make a slight
rattling sound but when using head phones the sound is absolutely excellent, it is crystal clear, no rattling or distortion! The speakers are probably worn out and need replaced. There is a small crack in the chassis next to the left hand speaker in the lower right hand corner and a crack on the bottom of the unit on the left hand side under where the left speaker is. SEE PICS FOR MORE DETAILS. Soundesign was known for offering excellent sound quality on a budget. They were popular in the 1980s. This
unit is no exception! It needs some work and TLC and would make a great little restoration project! Comes with
